Senior Account Executive

Have you been selling physical security solutions in NYC for 7+ years? Have you be working large scale security projects and have C level relationships? Are you passionate about the security industry? Are you an independent, energetic, self-motivated consultative sales executive? If YES we have the right fit for you.

This Senior Sales Executive position is responsible for developing and managing new accounts within the NYC territory and selling our full Security portfolio to the commercial marketplace. Strong focus will be on security infrastructure projects, cloud and managed services and remote guarding.

Job Duties Include
• Hitting your sales goals through new business development and overall pipeline management. First year expectations are 3m+ in revenue.
• Passion for sales, the security industry and consulting clients.
• Full understanding of the physical security technology platforms being offered and the ability to clearly present the benefits to the C level in an organization.
• Developing the NYC commercial territory and driving security infrastructure projects, cloud services, managed support services and remote guarding.
• Developing and executing on a territory plan and providing clear and timely updates in CRM.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking and industry events.

Sales Executive Skills and Qualifications
Education – College Degree
Experience – 7+ years in a consultative sales and account management in physical security in the commercial NYC market.

Technical Support Representative – Digital Products & Networking

We are looking for a talented and technically skilled “people person” who enjoys working with clients and is proud of his/her ability to provide superior customer service. Your base of operations will be our Corporate Headquarters in Bay Shore, NY. Some of your duties will include:
• Provide both pre and post-sale Tier1-2 level support to include the installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and project management of video management systems, access control systems and other security technology on-site, via telephone and/or remote connection.
• Test and replicate hardware and software networking and application issues.
• Install, configure, support and repair computers and related software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WAN, LAN, Firewall, VPN, etc. systems, when possible from the Help Desk.
• Troubleshoot and support internal office systems (printers, desktops, day to day issues).
• Mobile device support, Android and iOS phones and tablets.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
General skills-
• Interest in both PC (hardware/software) and Network Technology
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as presentation skills
• Enjoys working with people over the phone and provides thorough follow-up to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction
• Great problem solving abilities
• Outstanding organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
The following certifications are preferred but not required:
• A+, Networking+, CCNA, MCSE or MCP
• Between 1-5 years’ experience in the PC/Networking industry is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in the troubleshooting of both hardware and software in a Windows environment.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Subnet masking, DHCP and Firewalls.
• Working knowledge of routers, switchers, Wireshark, SAN, NAS, NAT, etc.
• Prior experience in a technical support/help desk type position a plus.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, digital video, video codecs, digital recording and video transmission a plus.

Client Account Manager

This Client Account Management position is responsible for supporting and developing our existing accounts within a defined territory and selling our Security life-cycle: Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments – Design – Implementation – Ongoing Support and Training. Customer Service, Account Management and New Business Development are equally important for this role.

We are searching for some with 3 years in a customer service and account management role in technology or security. Minimal travel is required. Vertical market expertise in public sector is preferred.

Low Voltage Technician

A+ Technology & Security Solutions is searching for Security Technicians. Responsibilities include configuring, installing and troubleshooting IP Video Surveillance and Access Control Systems. You will be performing functions such as installing Windows servers, cameras, card readers, door strikes, running CAT5 cables and manually testing and troubleshooting of all systems. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
